Virento Hideaway is located on the shore of a lake that belongs to a chain of several peaceful lakes. Here you can make scenic kayaking trips. For example, the neighbouring lake has several island that are nature reserves, one of them having an informal campfire site. The day trip there and back is about 14 km.
We have two kayaks and one open canoe for rent
- Winkkari open canoe for 2-4 people
- Arctic Watersport Proton kayak for 1 person (size M-XL), includes a liftable adjustment fin and generous luggage spaces in the front and back
- Exo Artic Luxe kayak for 1 person (size S-XL), including compact luggage space
We have also one short and wide kayak for beginners. This can be used free of charge by our guests.

Rent of a canoe or kayak includes life vests, paddle and a cover for the kayak opening. We rent kayaks only for people who are able to swim and have completed a kayak paddling course or has equivalent skills. We rent the canoe and kayaks only for people who stay overnight at our glamping site.
If your group needs more kayaks, you can rent them from Erärenki at Liesjärvi (transportation costs here +25€).
